downloaded a few new brush sets for my Adobe Photoshop and......I tried using it on my previous holiday work and I was quite pleased with what it produced. Hmm.....hurry up Results!! 10th December!!!! 3 more days...

Kill Time

My way of killing time...is with pen and paper...
Starting from the first day back home..first to kL..took a bus with Ihsan from Seri Iskandar to KL Central. I wanted to do some sketches on KL Central but I was rushing coz I had to be in Keramat. My mom planned to drive back to Terengganu that day. And I was the driver. But I will be in kL in a week or so and I am going to KL Central. Wait...why do I sketch anyways. Well Professor Alan from our final review insisted that we bring a pocket sketchbook and sketch bits of details of construction. That way, we can learn and understand and apply that knowledge in our future designs..hehe..

Upon arrival, we went to Jaya Jusco AU2 and I wandered around and sketched the internal steel structure of the roofing of a part of the building. I didn't have time for many. So this is what I did..

Two days ago we went to Mesra Mall in Kerteh. Not the usual mall you have in your homeowns. But, it was better than having nothing right. And this is what I did on the transition space from the main building to the entertainment center. The mall is suppose to have TGV Cinema but Terengganu government doesn't allow it to open. Stupid politicians. People go to Kuantan if not here..bangang..

And this here is the tensile structure along the five-foot walkway outside the mall..I dunno..i'm just practicing my strokes..

This is a shading device used at the petronas station at mesra mall...mls na elaborate daa...

And..for now..that's all..still working on the competition drawings right now.....later....

2 Nights Ago

See, my parents are in the process of taking care of the construction of our new home. The main designer, Baba. And mixed some ideas with Mama a little bit here and there. Well.. Right now, the ground floor frames up to the first floor slab is complete. No walls yet, and we have not quite decided how the windows, doors, finishing and so on to look like. Well, me taking architecture, I tried helping out a little bit. Just from what I can think of, well three semesters not really making me feel like an architect just yet..heh,,

I did some sketches on an idea for the windows. Putting in timber as an element.


And behind these timber finishes are ventilation holes which makes the timber functional as a kind of protector from direct heat and rain.


And I for one, am not familiar with Google SketchUp. So, why not I make a virtual model of our home. In the same time I get to get use to using that shitup. Haha.. Still in progress.. No picture yet aa.. But when complete I'll show ya!

And sambil2 buat tu, sarah main game Go Go Gormet and tbe2 demand na mkn pizza. Da 11pm and pizza hut da tutup budak weyh.. So, annoying little sarah got her pizza. Baba buat. Hoho.. WE HELPED.. Tp cheese pkai cheddar keping yg org ltak atas burger. Desperate times call for desperate measures, ryt?


But pagi ni Fatimah ada paper Akaun.. Go budak SKOLAH!! Hehe.. Da na abis da pn.. blaja jd anak dara yg pandai masak lak.. Jgn kua pg mne2.. ;p
